Episode 2 - Turkey Has Entered The Chat

The difficult second episode is here! And by the end of this episode we finally get to the stage where Turkey officially exists, but first we need to go through a series of complicated negotiations at the Conference of Lausanne. We also go over a foreign policy crisis that was so severe that the British government of the day had to resign (something that would never happen now in the UK), partially because once again Winston Churchill has messed up during a political crisis involving the Turkish straits. Sinan also talks about the only statue that actually teaches history as it relates to the infamous Population Exchange between Turkey and Greece.
