Ben has unlocked the secrets of understanding how our minds control our
business and daily lives. Inside each episode Ben shares his proven

desire and deserve! This is Practical Psychology for Business with Benjamin
Halpern. Hi and welcome to today's podcast. Let's talk about a new
beginning. A fresh start! We all have had our challenges in the past and we all
want a fresh new beginning. We all want a new life.
We don't want life to be the same. We want life to change. We want it to be
better. We want more. More happiness. More joy. More satisfaction. More love.
More happiness. More of what we want and we deserve more
Einstein taught us a big lesson and to paraphrase what Einstein said is
"if we keep doing the same thing we're going to get the same result. To expect
anything different is insanity..." That's the way it is. There are rules.
There are systems. There are processes. If we did something, we live by a certain
set of values and we did a certain set of actions and we got a certain result,
we are going to continue getting that result. That's the way it works so in
order to change it, we need to do things differently. We need to do different
actions. We need to live from a different mindset. We need to feel a different way
to get a different result. Thankfully, we're living in the generation of
information and knowledge and so many people have written & recorded in video, in
books, in posts... people that were successful - we can model
them so much easier today than we have to do years ago because you don't have
to meet the person and get the person's time. Today you have access to so much
content of that individual so you know what makes them tick.
You know the mindset, the patterns, the behaviors, the actions that they need to
do to make it happen, so that's amazing! I have studied this for years. I have
a degree as a mental health professional as well as having been a sales manager
and a salesperson for all of my life. I'm on the pulse and I've studied this stuff
and tried to understand deeply the people that are successful. One of their
patterns - what are their thoughts - what are their actions - and I'd love to share
them with you right here but the first thing to know is we need to make changes!
We can't live from the same mindset, from the same process and do the same thing
we did last year. We need to make big change if we want to have big changes in
our life. If you just want a little bit of change, you could just make teeny changes
but we need to do massive change if we want massive results so first and
foremost what do you want? What do you want to be different? Your brain is a
super supercomputer and can deliver anything you conceive. That's right! I
believe whatever you could conceive you can achieve. If you have the ability to
imagine something you have the ability to achieve it however the first key is
what do you want? Clearly - can you articulate it? Not in just words. There's
direct different levels in order for something to manifest in your life. It's
not enough to just articulate it in words or even in an image. You need to be
able to feel it in your heart! That's where it happens because all decisions
that we make - we make emotionally! We then later on justify the logic so if you
want to make a change, every change comes after a decision.
Decision and Latin words come from the word of "de cise" = cut off. Cut off from
everything that went on to today. I make a decision from today it's gonna be
different but in order to make that decision you have to know where you're
heading. You can't get into a car and just drive without knowing an address.
You're gonna be driving forever! What is your clear address? Do you
feel that address in your heart? Can you visualize it? Can you taste it? Can you
see it well? If you could, chances are it's gonna happen! I would venture to say
that that's the first thing you need to do! Use today, sit down and write down
number one what do you want, clearly, exactly as vivid and as real as you can
to the degree that you can literally feel it in your heart! That's when the
change happens! That's when you come to the stage of being able to make a
decision that's powerful! Follow me and I'm gonna give you the step by step
