Kim Simmons is the Director of Prevention at the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council of Deep East Texas. In episode 15 of The Coalition 936 Podcast: Coming Together for a Better Community, Kim and J.P. discuss back-to-school tips for parents about alcohol, drugs, and e-cigarettes awareness. Kim goes into detail about the rise of alcohol use during COVID-19 and good conversation starters for your student.  They also discuss the Hidden in Plain Sight demonstration and her unique view of the Drug-Free All Star program.
