When you think of the term “crisis,” what comes to mind? Usually, a crisis is thought of as something that just happens; a series of events that brings you to a critical point where action needs to be taken. But that’s only part of the story. How does a crisis come into being? If you’re talking about the opioid crisis, you can draw a straight line from the actions of Perdu Pharma to the 500,000 Americans who have died of opioid overdoses in the last 20 years.
