Mid-Session 17 Apr 20: ASX rallies on optimism over coronavirus progress

The Aussie sharemarket is lifting to the best level in 5 weeks as investors react to signs of  positive progress on the coronavirus front. Even a larger than expected fall in Chinese economic growth has not stopped the momentum as all sectors improve to lift the ASX 200.
