Mid-Session 21 June 19: Shares slip despite solid gains for resource stocks

The local sharemarket is weaker at lunch on Friday with the ASX 200 easing 18 points or 0.28% to 6669. The broader weakness is despite a record session for US markets and a jump in commodity prices. Resource stocks are outperforming as a result while banks, telcos and health weigh most.
