Market Close 2 Feb 2021: 2nd best day of 2021 for stocks

The Australian sharemarket surged by 1.5% on Tuesday, with most sectors finishing higher. The RBA kept rates on hold as expected but flagged lower rates for longer in its first meeting of the year.
