Episode 53: Broadened Mind

Sorry, we didn't see you there. We're still alive, though you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise. Things, as they say, have been afoot. Apologies. This episode is one that doesn't really cover any topics so much as enable both of us to get back in touch with each other after roughly (exactly) nine weeks. If you're a neglected friend or family member that has also been wondering what we've been up to, you're in luck. This episode's mistakes include:

• Occasional long pauses where Skype lagged (but surprisingly good audio otherwise).
• Repetition of a theme.
• No mention of pachinko, vending machines, or other Japanese cliches.
• Egregious factual inaccuracies.
