Bricks & Mortar: ULI’s outgoing Young Leaders Group (Europe) chair, William Riordan, reflects on his two-year term

In this latest episode of Bricks & Mortar, Sarah Jackman catches up with William Riordan, chair of the ULI’s Young Leaders Group for Europe. Riordan completes a two-year term in the role in July and reflects on the importance of the network in connecting people from different parts of the industry and in enabling “the leaders of tomorrow to engage with the leaders of today.”

He discusses the priorities he established for his tenure, the change that the industry has seen in the time that he’s been chair and what it was like being in the role during the pandemic – a period which saw membership of the Young Leaders Group in Europe increase by 60%. He highlights potential areas for future development, as well as sharing his top tips for those currently developing a career in real estate.
