On the heels of a stinging rebuke of President Donald Trump by Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) over what Corker called “the debasement of the nation,” another leading Republican, Jeff Flake of Arizona, announced yesterday from the Senate floor that, like Corker, he’ll quit politics at the end of his current term rather than put up with “an utterly untruthful president” and a party that is unwilling to keep him in check.
