Episode # 970 - TGIF And The Feast Of The Assumption

TGIF again loyal listeners and today is the Feast of the Assumption, as Father Anthony starts off the show discussing its importance and meaning and promises to talk about it throughout the hour.  The gang's all here today, reminding of previous days of the past with Father Anthony joined by Christina, Gerri, and Tony today and the feeling is special (as always) when everyone in here, with Father Anthony getting coffee for Gerri this morning, with Producer Nick chiming in.  Unfortunately, the feeling brings many funny moments on this Freaky Friday or Good Friday today.  At the start of the show, Gerri talks about how she's been doing since she's been coming in mostly on Friday's due to her being away for sometime since she wasn't feeling well, and relates to being "full of yourself" as Father Anthony says.  The discussion leads to what was discussed yesterday on the Pope visiting South Korea, and brings up the idea/concept/fact that people there, as well as due to the sign of the times today, being workaholics and dealing with the light and dark in our lives.  As promised, Father Anthony talk about the Pope still visiting South Korea explaining what he has been doing and some things for the first time, as well as today being the Feast of the Assumption.  The discussion turns toward the kids coming back to school as summer draws once again to a sad close, sad that is because everyone has fun over the summer, with things to remind us about.
