The Test of Opposition

This message on Judges 2:20-3:6 looks at how God responded to Israel's rebellion against the covenant when they entered the land of Canaan. It teaches us that all people of God are tested through opposition [2:20-3:3]; God tests His people to make us more like Him [2:22, 3:1-2]; and, we pass the test by obeying God [2:20,22: 3:1-6]. The message encourages us to look and fix our eyes on Jesus our Helper. This sermon is part of our fifty sermon series in Judges preached in 2017-18.
