A conversation with Jim Kane, Vice President of Sales and Product Management for Amphenol Broadband Solutions. Jim has been with Amphenol for seven years. We talk about the many layers he and his team have to navigate with the large MSO, or multiple-service operator, customers that they work with. We talk about the Amphenol Broadband Solutions web-based storefront, which serves as one face to their customers, covering multiple Amphenol businesses, the challenges to creating the storefront, and the benefits of having it. We talk about being born and raised in the Philadelphia area, going to Penn State for engineering, then embarking on a 30-year journey in the telecommunications industry.
