On this Tuesday, it's the start of July and this Friday is The 4th of July bringing good feelings. However, so much going on recently too, for instance the storms that occurred last night causing so much trouble for everyone driving and power outages and thunder, lightening, rain, and even hail. And speaking of driving, Producer Nick is back after suffering a car accident yesterday, which is why the show on Monday was a rebroadcast (we apologize for any inconveniences) and he talks about it and he is ok and fine, just shaken up by the accident, but he's ok. A main subject on the show today however deals with abortion and birth control that the Church has been discussing/dealing with, especially with the the Supreme Court's recent dealings and decisions. Since the storms happened last night all around the Chicago land area, the Gospel readings today focused on Storms of a sort, relating to discuss the struggles/storms we go through, with evil being on the upper hand. Father Anthony brings back the subject of the Family again, with God being the Center of it, and leading to a discussion about taking away Satan from Bible, a very interesting or scary idea. After the first break, Tardy Tony arrives on the show and the discussion continues on the possibility of eliminating Satan and the discussion on contraception, with the possible "war on women" here along various subject matters. Conflicted is the word of choice for how Father Anthony feels today with many "storms" around, how we are all dealing with stress and conflicts and problems and situations that seem to bring "fires" with them, not only here, but on the other side of the globe in the Middle East.
