Because you don’t trust and hope in your own strength. You trust and hope in God’s strength. He’s mighty to save, and he’s proven it in the past, made it evident in the present, and promises it in the future. So rejoice and be glad when you’re weak and called weak, because your weakness proves his strength all the more.
