Episode # 950 - Guests From England

TGIF everyone and Father Anthony reminds us that a great weekend is on the way, in terms of weather for all of us to enjoy.  Father Anthony starts the show off with the latest news on the flight that went down in Malaysia and how tragic this is, sending all our thoughts and prayers to those would had families involved in yesterday's tragedy.  With this tragedy in mind, Father Anthony talks about how every generation has it's stresses and tragedies and forces that have innocent people go through horrific things, including all of us that live in Chicago.  However, on more positive notes, Father Anthony reminds us about the Dinner Dance going on tonight for all to experience.  He is also joined by not only Christina and Tony today, but special guests: Jim Henseler and Sister  Theressa  of the Community of Our Lady of Walsingham  from England, or to more precise Brentwood in England, here in Chicago for conferences going on, as well as being here in Chicago for the very first time, with Sister Theressa saying what she has been doing here, not only in terms of work but fun activities in this city.  Both Jim and Sister Theressa share with us what their organization has been doing, the work that is conducted, how long they have been active, and everything they try to do to help out people, as well as a little bit about themselves.  With this entire discussion, Father Anthony reminds us that not only is God loving, but a God of history as well to all of us.  For more information on The Community of Our Lady of Walsingham, visit online at: www.walsinghamcommunity.org.
