Episode # 865 - The Feast Of St Joseph

On this Wednesday, Father Thomas Koys is finally back in the studio on the show today after missing several days due to professional obligations and the massive amounts of snow falling making it hard to get to St. Stans for the show.  But despite all that, we are happy that he is back and has much to share with us today, including talking about St. Joseph since today is his feast day, including a favorite song of his in honor of this day, which if you listen carefully can tell about the frustration Joseph must've been going through being the human Father Of Jesus.  It is also appropriate since Christina talks about someone dear to everyone who (at the time of the show) is going through open heart surgery.  Tony also shares his opinion on this and the idea of "how to raise a king."  This discussion leads to how children are not only ours first, but also remind us that children are of God.  Since St Joseph is also the patron saint of workers, Father Koys talks about that, as well as we are in the aftermath of the elections that were going on yesterday and the economic situation too, talking about the candidates and how everyone, including himself, feels about them.  Father Koys also uses various historical figures and times to help in this discussion dealing with capitalism, economics, fascism and other areas regarding politics, leading to giving Father Koys, as well as maybe other listeners too.
