We're on site with Brad Anderson from AARP-Iowa and Layne Fergusen from Team Better Block as they and dozens of volunteers transform a block of Grand Avenue in the East Village of Des Moines. The goal is to show what can be done to encourage a redesign of auto-dominated roads and create a more livable community and a more vibrant commercial area.
