211 - Run the Tan with Darren Templeton

Run the Tan was founded with a mission to unite runners around the iconic Tan Track in Melbourne. It began with wanting to document official times and has grown to fostering a community of passionate runners and supporting mental health.

 

Today, we're stepping outside the confines of the boardroom to delve into our shared love for health and fitness. Our focus? The upcoming Run the Tan event is slated for April and its profound effects on mental well-being. We had the pleasure of chatting with Darren Templeton, the visionary behind this remarkable event.

Darren works as a Business Transformation and Technology Executive and directs the Run the Tan event. He recently established Run for Mental Health Ltd (May 2023) a new Australian not-for-profit and community-based charity organisation whose purpose is to “empower people to thrive through optimal physical and mental health”.
