Farrah founded Beacon in 2001, immediately after the tragedy of September 11th with the goal to help his clients, the United States and, by extension, the world, to recover, regroup and heal through business and economic growth. In the last 19 years, Cliff Farrah has grown Beacon to become one of the world’s premiere growth strategy consulting firms, studying trillions of dollars in global market opportunities and delivering over 1,400 projects for over 50 Fortune 200 clients, across major industry verticals and across 85 foreign markets. Mr. Farrah has spent more than 25 years advising hundreds of clients on organic and inorganic growth strategies and tactics in Healthcare, Technology, Industrial, Private Equity, Financial Services, Energy and Defense marketplaces. His thought leading, copyrighted work on growth strategy, innovation commercialization, market disruption, and services/business model design is successfully used by Fortune 100 clients around the globe today. His new book, “Growing The Top Line” from Wiley Press will be released in 2021, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the firm. For the first time he is sharing the playbook at the core of Beacon’s process with the reader. An alumnus of A.T. Kearney, Oracle, EDS, and Maister Associates, Mr. Farrah is the author of dozens of growth strategy and analytical frameworks, and is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business, where he received his MBA. At play, Cliff Farrah is a husband, dad, HS Sailing Coach, a former US national amateur champion and has been profiled on ESPN and in Sailing magazine.
