Mid-Session 22 Aug 18: Banks again weigh on the market; raft of earnings news

The Australian sharemarket is falling further, after yesterday recording its worst one-day loss in five months. The banks are again the biggest weights, while telcos are outperforming. A2M, SVW, ABC & LLC have released earnings results.
