Cooper’s influence runs deep but she is not to be mistaken for an “influencer,” a title of cultural critic is more suited to her. Long before Fashion was forced to confront a racial reckoning, Cooper was sounding the alarm on the industry’s transgressions. When stylists only stan-ed for their clients, Cooper spoke honestly of the behind the scenes shenanigans.
