FG/FF coalition ‘in the distance’ – Hayes

The Fine Gael MEP Brian Hayes has defended Enda Kenny’s role as Taoiseach and leader of the party. The Dublin MEP says Fine Gael has a significant mandate to defend and that it intends doing so with Mr Kenny as leader. Mr Hayes, who was speaking in the European Parliament, says the priority for both Fianna Fail and Fine Gael will be to see if they can form a government with other parties and independents.
