Grindhouse Pizzeria - ”Shivers”

On Episode 17 of our show "Grindhouse Pizzeria" which is dedicated to all things encompassing various Grindhouse, Drive-In, and Exploitation genres, we will be reviewing and dissecting the wild "SHIVERS" from 1975.  This is the debut feature film from a director we have a lot of respect here for, none other than Canadian maestro David Cronenberg himself.  This movie is classic body horror exploitation fare filled with creatures, parasites, unspeakable attacks, evisceration, slicing, dicing, deviance, debauchery, mobs of murderers, and so much more. Discussion headed off by our regular hosts Cameron Scott and Tom Komisar for a first time watch for Tom. Don't worry, Cameron doesn't let Tom live that one down. Hahaha!  Join the two of them for a grueling race against time in which a doctor tries to stop the spread of a parasitic disease from within a suburban apartment complex and into the city!  Come on in at the Grindhouse Pizzeria, pull up a chair and grab yourself a slice!
