My special guest today is Sonny Emory. Sonny is a singer, songwriter, drummer, and percussionist. Sonny was a member of Bruce Hornsby's Noisemakers band from 2002 to 2018. He is a former member of the band Earth, Wind & Fire. He has also worked with legendary artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Steely Dan, Eric Clapton and the B-52’s. Sonny has formed an exciting new group - - - SONNY & THE7EVENTHTIME! The members of the band are literally a who’s who in the music industry. Drummer Sonny Emory and longtime friend bassist Sam Sims, are joined by Sonny’s talented sons Nic Gibran (Vocals/Keys) and Ni Emory (Master Engineer) They presented their self-titled debut album to the world “THE7EVENTHTIME “ on November 17 Sonny is currently on tour in Eric Clapton’s band for his Sept. 2023 North American tour dates!
