Wake Up TriCounties Henry County Board Meeting Wrap Up

The Henry County Board met on Thursday evening at the Henry County Courthouse. Shawn Kendall and Henry County Administrator Erin Knackstedt joined WKEI on Friday to talk about the meeting including AdHoc grants handed out to local non-profits hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Area organizations including Henry County Senior Center, Bishop Hill Heritage Association, Colona Public Library, Freedom House, and the Orion American Legion were among those who pleaded their case to receive a grant and among the 15 grants that were handed out.
