US Close 17 Jan 18: Big reversal in the US after early gains saw DOW above 26,000pts.

US sharemarkets fell from highs in afternoon trade. At the close of trade the US Dow Jones was lower by 10 points or less than 0.1% after lifting by 283 points to 26,086 points in early trade. The Nasdaq was lower by 37 points.
