Tomorrow is Wednesday, December 9, 2020. It was Thursday, April 9, 2020 when I was laid off. When it first happened, I was excited, the severance was good, and nothing was going to stop me now! When it first happened, I was excited, the severance was good, and nothing was going to stop me now! I would move my side-hustle to my primary revenue stream and finish my book! As the months went by, the book was finished and I realized moving my side-hustle wasn't going to happen. I would be an employee with two to three side hustles – at least while my kids are in school.

These last eight months have not gone as planned, yet if I start focusing on what's not happening, I'll find it and go back to feeling sorry for myself. Why go back? I refuse to not move forward. Today, and every day, is a chance to be grateful for what I have. You can move forward in your life as well.

Today, stand strong, smile, and say, "Today's going to be a great day!"
