God has a lot to say about our priorities in the Bible. In fact, this is the main message of the Book of Haggai.

Life moves at such a fast pace that we can easily get caught up in the day to day routines, and lose focus of what should be our first priority. That which is most important, our relationship with God, gets lost amidst the busyness of life’s relentless demands. God twice calls us to "Give careful thought to your ways” or the KJV says “Consider your ways” (v 5, 7).
