Mid-Session 25 Feb 22: Aussie shares edge higher in volatile trade

The Australian sharemarket is edging higher in volatile trade, following a slump in Europe and choppiness in US markets as Russia launched its attack on Ukraine. The ASX 200 fell by 3% on Thursday; its worst day in 17 months.
