It seems appropriate that a friend made through World of Warcraft would bring an epic fantasy tale like Willow to the table for this week's conversation. We talk about the criticism of George Lucas making another derivative story and how that criticism really didn't have an impact on how much Rafe and guest Monica Siegfred enjoyed the story of Willow Ufgood, Elora Danaan, and Madmartigan on their epic quest to save the kingdom from evil. Is the movie still good or does it suffer from the "toxic impulse" of nostalgia? How well does it hold up now that The Lord of the Rings has had a real adaptation realized on film?
