Royals (sort of) Cleaning House, Tyreek Saves $2.7m in Taxes, Schmidt Hits Lockdown Laura at Debate, Mayorkas Put on Notice

   Royals GM JJ Piccolo has fired manager Mike Matheny and pitching coach Cal Eldred in what can only be described as one of the strangest "house cleanings" in Royals history.  It's not that we don't like Piccolo, but how can an owner hate the direction of the team but give more power to his GM?
