Gun Dog Doc

Dr. Joe Spoo (aka: Gun Dog Doc) joins the show to discuss his new Gun Dog Field Emergency & First Aid online course. Joe explains why he developed the course, what dog owners will learn, how and when to treat dogs in the field, tools to keep at the truck and tools to bring in the field, how to read your dog for signs of stresses, when to act and when to call for help, and why it’s important to be prepared in the field.  We also discuss common injuries, diseases, genetics and changes that Joe has witnessed in the past 20-plus years of caring for sporting dog breeds.
