IFA needs to rebuild and reform to lobby at EU level

The Fine Gael MEP Mairead McGuinness says it’s essential the IFA rebuilds its credibility to be a strong lobby organisation for farmers at an EU level. The Midlands North-West MEP says she’s shocked at the damning revelations from the Con Lucey report into IFA remunerations for senior officials. But she is warning that farmers need a strong voice in Brussels to continue to fight for their rights.
