Episode 11: The Slumber Party Massacre (1982 Original and 2021 Remake)

Dave, Devan, Michael and Ryan go to Dave's place to have a sleepover, drink lots of beer, have a pillow fight, and get hunted down by a psychopath with a large electric (but definitely not phallic) drill as they discuss "The Slumber Party Massacre," both the 1982 original film and its 2021 remake.  The crew first examine the original film, what they enjoyed about it, and whether or not it succeeded in being effectively creepy despite its low budget and simplistic plot.  They then talk about the 2021 remake and where they think it went wrong in trying to capture the effectiveness of the original film.  We hope you enjoy listening to this discussion of these two Slumber Party films.  Thanks again for your support!  Stay scared!
