Racism at Art School

Art Prof Clara Lieu and RISD students Mary Kuan and Lauryn Levette from the RISD Anti-Racism Coalition discuss racism at art schools. Topics include racism experienced in student/faculty dynamics during critiques, racial gaslighting, the artistic impact racism has on BIPOC students, (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) the facade of social justice school administrations project while a culture of racism persists at the school.
