Eucharistic Coherence - Sunday Homily with Fr. Dan Mahan 8.8.21 - St. Teresa

The quote from the bishops of Latin America is as follows: the Latin American bishops’ 2007 Aparecida document. “We must adhere to ‘eucharistic coherence,’ that is, be conscious that they [i.e., legislators, heads of government and health professionals] cannot receive Holy Communion and at the same time act with deeds or words against the commandments, particularly when abortion, euthanasia, and other grave crimes against life and the family are encouraged.”

St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross quote: “Stay close to the Eucharist. It’s your best chance of having a clear understanding of what’s going on in your life.”
