Discussion of September Sermons

On Sunday, September 22, 2024, Cole Tuck led our evening discussion on the September sermons.  The evening discussion centered on the key themes from the September sermons. Topics included the Beatitudes, such as mourning over sin, meekness, hunger and thirst for righteousness, and mercy. Participants reflected on how these teachings challenge personal attitudes and behaviors, focusing on living out Christ’s teachings in daily life. The group also discussed the deeper implications of the sermons, such as the transformative power of humility, the cost of following Jesus' example, and the importance of showing love and mercy to others.
