In this episode, we raised our glasses to toast cinco de mayo, in honor of a holiday that originated out of a culture that revolted against another culture's domination, or at least attempted to dominate...nice try French. Naturally, the conversation evolved into questioning the roles of government, and how money plays a role in a tyrannical takeover, where fiat currency tricks the public. Ultimately, the free markets will prevail, and overrule the fiat-based monetary system that has lied to us all along. Money costs for a reason. You cannot print or borrow your way to prosperity forever. All of those pigeons come home to roost eventually, as they say.
