Jesus asked the disciples this question. If he asked us the same question, we might answer that many see him as a mascot for their political agenda. Just like he did with his disciples, Jesus might lean in with us and press, "But who do you say that I am?". As we kick off our series “King Jesus Above All”, Pastor John opens several passages to explore a Christian’s primary political allegiance and what it means to live out dual citizenship in our polarized, partisan cultural moment. You’ll hear about the city of Philippi, the kingdoms of Laos and Vietnam, an American missionary being mocked after 9/11.
