  If I only know that my sins are forgiven there is a great gap in my spiritual life. Is all this preaching just so I don't go to hell, is that it? If I only know the Spirit as power to do exploits and flow in the gifts, then there is a great gap in my spiritual life. Where do we go from here? To know the Father, that's where we go from here. My sins are forgiven in order that I come to the Father. The Holy Spirit comes in order that with his energy, his power, I live in my Father's presence in an experienced, spiritually felt way.
