Welcome to the Sports Therapy Association weekly Facebook Live Webchat & Podcast: 'Let's Talk About'!
Recorded live on Tuesdays at 8pm (UK time) on the Sports Therapy Association Facebook Page , host Matt Phillips (creator of Runchatlive) brings guests from the Sports Therapy industry to answer YOUR questions and discuss topics chosen by YOU.
In Ep.13 of the Sports Therapy Association Podcast, we have the pleasure of chatting with Mike Grice - Osteopath, Clinical Anatomist, Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics Coach, Director of Movement Therapy Clinics - Harborne. Anyone who has attended one of Mike's 'Learn REAL Anatomy with REAL bodies' workshops will tell you that having the opportunity to study prosected cadaver specimens can truly open one's eyes to the incredible and astonishingly beautiful functioning of the human body.
In this episode, Mike highlights some fantastic examples of natural anatomical variation that can be seen in the human body, and the implication this can have on many of the special tests and corresponding assumptions we use daily in clinic to explain injury and pain.
WARNING: the video recording of this episode on our YouTube channel includes videos of cadavers that some viewers may find distressing. Please ensure no children are present during the live broadcast.
