Battle at the Bot-Factory – Episode 01

In Battle at the Bot-Factory – Episode One, recorded live on stage at Sonic FanFest on 20th June 2026, Mo, Tilly, and special guest Leigh dive into a Sonic the Hedgehog-inspired adventure using the delightfully chaotic Grotten RPG system in a homebrew scenario created especially for the event.

As the Woodland Resistance launches its long-awaited assault on Robotnik's sprawling Robo-Factory, the fate of the mission rests in the paws of three unlikely heroes: Picky the Pig, Ricky the Squirrel, and Rocky the Seal. Their assignment is simple on paper—slip into the factory through the old sewer network beneath the ruined castle on which it was built, disable the shield generator, and clear the way for the Resistance's final push.

Of course, nothing is ever that simple. The forgotten tunnels have become a labyrinth of rusting machinery, ancient stonework, and unspeakable horrors that have no business existing beneath a robot factory. Will our rag-tag heroes complete their mission and become legends of the Resistance? Will they become hopelessly lost beneath the castle? Or will they meet a sticky, spectacularly embarrassing end in front of a live audience? There's only one way to find out. Roll initiative!
