What is the connection between fine arts and dermatology? Can dermatology be considered art? Are dermatologists artists of the skin? In today’s episode, Prof. Johannes Ring, Prof. Günter Burg, and Dr. Michael Geiges attempt to explore parallels between fine arts and dermatology in skin representations and the search for the flawlessness of the incarnate, referencing the book DermARTology (G. Burg, M. Geiges and C. Hug, Springer, 2022).
