According to the Institute on Disability “If people with disabilities were a formally recognized minority group, at 19% of the population, they would be the largest minority group in the United States.” What does 19% look like? Well it’s over 50 million people, and that has a huge impact on living in the United States. It also has a huge impact on living and learning on our campuses. This week’s show features an expert on engaging and serving the disability community.

In this episode, Dr. De Veau speaks to Emily Voorde the Founder and CEO of INTO Strategies, a disability-led inclusion consultancy committed to bringing people with disabilities into spaces that have not always been as seemingly available or welcoming.
