Philo Vance - The Racket Murder Case

A woman, whom Philo believes to be Betty Crane, pays a visit to his office, for the third day in a row.  This time she brings her companion, Jack Davis.  When Philo asks "How are you Miss Crane?", she gets upset and says that she is not Betty Crane, and does not know who that is.  Her and Jack then leave to report to the Boss. He asks them about the meeting, and they told him about leaving after the case of mistaken identity.  The Boss then says that we will have to continue our operation without Philo on our team.
