Mid-Session 25 June 19: ASX 200 edges higher as gold miners shine

Local shares are higher at lunchtime having traded through a narrow range over the course of the morning. The caution evident in overseas trade has been reflected locally in terms of gains for gold miners. The Aussie dollar is being supported in the face of a weaker US dollar.
