• Jesus completely rejects the Talmud and Jewish leadership.  He does not recognize their authority. 
• Herod as a descendant of Esau ("Esau I hated.")
• Jesus's interaction with a double-minority with a special needs child. Race as an enduring and legitimate way of categorizing people.
