With over 20 years of hands-on experience across disciplines like endurance riding, advanced trail, horsemanship instruction, equine training, and even VetMed, Mary’s done a little bit of everything (except zebras, as she likes to say). But what truly sets Mary apart is her deep commitment to the wellbeing of her horses — including her remarkable herd of seniors, with her oldest horse now 39 years old. Her story is also one of resilience, having faced cancer with the same determination she brings to her horsemanship. In this episode, Mary shares her journey, her passion for keeping horses happy and healthy into old age, and how humor, heart, and hard work have shaped both her life and her work with horses.
