Whom The Lord Loveth He Chasteneth

8/1/21 - Hebrews 12:5-14 - Parents are exhorted by God to train and discipline their children as they grow. This is to turn them from the natural course of corruption and teach them how to live properly in this life. God, the high Father, acts in the same way. The born again children of God are not left to live their own life without direction. God, being a loving Father, trains His children with discipline and instruction that they may be conformed to the image of the Son of God.
